the 2010 model is more than a facelift, and by doing this conversion you will not gain the important improvements but only a look a like, what is the point? Rolling Eyes

Maybe he likes the look?
Like any other similar mod, wheels, LEDs, colour coding, etc.

anybody know what MY 2010.5 is? My local dealer reckons they are starting to get them come through already!

BTW straight tailpipes - I asked when I was in the showroom yesterday - straight pipes were on all the very early builds, it is usually a sign that the car has the DPF fitted. No DPF and you get downward pointing pipes - these will no doubt be shot down in flames by someone with a DPF and downward poiting tail pipes or no DPf and straight pipes! Laughing Laughing 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

The problem with putting MY10 mods on a non MY10 car is that you end up with a "Chav" factor, no matter how well its done.

It maybe fine while you own it and you may enjoy the latest look but come resale time.....your options for trade in maybe limited.

What dealer wants an MY07 tricked up to look like an MY10 on his forecourt nad more importantly, who would buy it? The resale potential is limited by such overt modifications in my opinion.
