How to fit an AUX socket?

How to fit an AUX socket?

I found a thread on another forum that suggests my radio tuner is OK to accept an AUX source and all I need is a cable from BMW Parts. I want to use my iPod Touch in the car as it will save me having to keep burning MP3 CDs.

Assuming the Sport has similar internal parts has anyone done this or know more about how its done?

Thanks L319 D4 HSE

The RRS has a different system to yours. Sad
Only know because have picked up a alpine systyem for mine that someone had bought thinking it would fit the FRR and it didn;t.

Might be worth looking at BMW options as likley to have same system.
