We live in an area, Lake Tahoe Nevada, that essentially demands at least one of your vehicles is all wheel drive. There are off road activities and in the winter on road challenges. This areas AWD vehicle(s) of choice are Subaru, Mazda and no shortage of Detroit iron. To see a LR or a RR is more the exception. That said, in the winter we go to the Monteray, Carmel (No. California) area where having an AWD is basically an option. Well guess what, damn near every other AWD is a RR! I guess it's all about demographics?
