If the ECU is updated as part of an update, yes... but not for example, if only the Bluetooth module is upgraded (apologies if that sounds obvious, just trying to outline the difference) Very Happy

Most remap vendors are often happy to reapply your map for free or nominal charge though, eh?

I suppose that's what's good about the BAS remap Very Happy

Distance doesn't seem to be an issue - I think it's all done over email once the device is posted out to you. There's a couple of German members who have (hypothetically) taken delivery of them Thumbs Up

Adam of course you can have BAS remap, they send you the tool out you upload your ecu file to BAS who then remap send it back to you all electronically and you upload it with the tool provided. The only delay is the tool being sent via POST now that strikes are on the way! Give them a call! Thumbs Up

Npinks: I ve never used a remap company, just took the information from other post's. Give them a call as a forum member had problems with a remap and Pete at BAS did rectify the problem. I prefer my car to remain a virgin, the only extra boost that she gets is a tankfull of BP ULTIMATE DIESEL!

Thumbs Up

I've obviously no personal experience, but judging by forum feedback Pete seems to be very customer focused and it appears there are simple ways for him to troubleshoot things if they do go wrong. Why not give him a ring or drop him a note?

Details on the Sponsors Page of course Thumbs Up
