Overfinch Supersport 22" Replicas

A friend of mine has just bought an 07 RRS S/C and wants to buy Supersports but now pay Overfinch prices despite my warnings of the poor ride quality and the fact they will probably kill you.

Do they exist and if so who sells them?

muchos gracias.

or is anyone here selling a set of genuines or replicas?

FYI Overfinch Leeds are doing a set of 4 with tyres for £2,500 inc VAT when they are RRP £3,576 + VAT.....still twice the price of replicas but worth twice the price in my opinion

Are they definitely the 22" at that price? Not the 20"'s?

Jonny, as it happens, I do actually have a set of 22" replicas for sale - your question has just spurred me into selling them. They came on my HST, but as I am p/x'ing it mid Oct, I've just put the original stormers back on.

They have quite a few scuffs, and one in particular will need to be re-furbed. Have not thought about pricing at all yet. When they get delivered back from the tyre place, I will take some photo's if you are interested. Drop me a PM if so.

Cheers, Bradders.

Yes they do exist - just look on fleabay....I have 22 Stormers on mine, and of course not orgibal and they have been fine for the last 18 months - think sometimes it's cheaper to buy 4 new wheels and 4 new tyres for a K, then get the wheels refurbed and new tyres etc - I'll do that with mine when the tyres hit 4 mm and all my wheels need doing...

£2,500 definitely for the 22s yes.

He's not bothered now, I convinced him the ride quality is affected (as it was for me on my brief spell on 22s)

Bradders if yours are replicas and badly scuffed you'll be looking around £800 with tyres I'd have thought, but i'm no expert.

Badly scuffed replicas for £800? You can get brand new wheels and tyres for a grand, I think that's very optimistic. Good luck all the same.

But supersport replicas are generally £1500, refurbing 4 wheels to like new only costs £200 so for a grand they would be like new..

came across these...

http://www.alloywheelspin.co.uk/22-style-7-130-p.asp

Pirelli Scorpion 285-35-22 shouldnt be much more than £700. Pick up budget makes for about 450-500.

So shouldnt really be paying more than £1300 for reps with quality tyres. WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph
