As said Biggest isn't always best,

i think you need to decide what you want from your car and go for what you deep down know is best for you in the long run, trying to ignore the unrelistic figures some companys offer.

There are many tuneing sellers on the forum and also in the landrover game, they all differ from each other some are supplied from one master supplier and some from others.

Its all down to what is best for you and your car, and only you can make that choice.

Some people report a small gain, some no gain at all and it just stays the same .

I have 2 D3's manual, and a RRS all 3 seem to be about the same.
That may be because they are all driven hard ish under varying conditions from the school run , shopping to towing my trailer.

To be honest i dont watch the RRS econ much i just put diesel in when it needs it.

Likewise however the RRS has decent performance as standard and with the number of cars on the road and having 9 points on my license I was looking for other reasons to have this done besides better performance. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

I can only advise on what my customers tell me.

If i were to give a honest opinion it would be .

Only choose the remap is you are intrested primarely on the gain in power and driveability, with a hope to gain on economy.
I would not wish a customer to buy on the intention guarentee of a economy gain, because this in some cases does not happen for various reasons.

Probabaly a statment that sounds weird coming from a seller of a product but i try and tell it how it is and only state the truth and give my best advise even if it means i dont make the sale.

MY2010 RRS 3.0L TDV6 chip?

I have a Q for Pete from BAS. I am taking delivery of a MY2010 RRS TDV6 but was wondering if you could shed some light on chips for the new 3.0L TDV6, what gains you have had or expect?

tks

Tim

Hi this is still under development as yet.
I can't provide figures untill it's complete.
This new model is running a totally new managent system so it's starting from scratch with the protocall and tuning.

We should hopefully have something ready before christmass.
