Cost of changing seat colour?

Hi all,

A buddy of mine is buying a used RRS - the seats are grey leather - he is wondering how he could change them to a beige alpaca leather - the dash etc is already beige. Does he

(1) Get them re-upholstered? Approx What cost?
(2) Buy beige seats and replace them? Approx What cost?

Any input or previous experiences appreciated.

Thanks

Marcus

My last car was a bmw and I think bmw leather (even the individual premium stuff) is crap so I ordered with cloth and got leather done elsewhere (Champagne Nappa leather).

This was immaculate and cost me £3000 for the whole car.

edit: tried to upload photos....not working Sad

Land Rover breakers should be able to supply seats, door cards etc in alpaca.

Sounds like someone has already had a play around, to get a mix of grey and beige. Unless the previous owner was colour blind. Laughing

Expensive job to have it done aftermarket... as iSlider says, reckon the best bet is a breakers or maybe keep an eye on Ebay. I'm sure I've seen a set of RRS seats come up on there before...

I agree....eBay is the cheapest option

Revere London starting price is from £1600 + for a retrim. You could probably double it as the from price is to get you interested. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

If you got a replacement set of seats off of Ebay, I expect most dealers would be happy to refit on a time and materials basis.

Or Beige crayons, and let the kids loose for an hour or two. Laughing

Just google Land Rover Breakers, you'll find some with alpaca interiors complete. And bodywork a little 'used'. Whistle
