LR Experience

I've just called LR to book my free Experience course and upgrade to the full day as everyone seems to recommend, only to be informed that as of yesterday, there are no more upgrades available.....at all Mad My wife wanted to come along, but now she can't, even if I was prepared to pay extra, which I was.

As previously posted, they are no longer giving away the free ½ day course to buyers of new cars I have just leant that they are now giving them to people enquiring about new cars or upgrading, subject to being nominated by the dealer.

That is exactly what I was told last week when I was at the dealers having repairs done.
The salesman I spoke to was expecting every Tom Dick and Harry to be showing interest in the car just so they could get a free days off roading, Does not make sense to me but Land Rover must make enough money out of us to be able to offer this off road course to anybody so why should we bother (he says sarcasticly).
I would have thought that new owners are the people who should benefit from the voucher scheme more than anybody. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Exactly - I don't understand why they've done this. LR won't make any friends that way, that's for sure.

Being as I am back at the dealers again this Saturday for wishbone bushes on my sport, I may be tempted to buy a new car, if you know where I am coming from Wink as well. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

On second thoughts I quite like the look of the Freelander, Discovery, Range Rover, Defender, all on seperate occasions and at seperate dealers = 2 full days out at Land Rovers and Land Rovers purchasers expsense. Laughing Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

PaulB,

I would kick up a right fuss - complain to LR customer services tel: 08705 000500 give them hell Twisted Evil

This was not the case when you purchased you car - nor was it the advice/info you were given at the dealership - WAS IT Wink

YOU WANT your half day & £75 to upgrade to full day .

I think for you & your wife ( sole occupancy as well ) was nearer the £300 mark ?

1/2 day is a waste of time Banging Head
