England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
In car TV issues ( ALPINE)

I have digital tv in the back of my RRS . i am not sure if it is factory or not. I have PS2, alpine DVD and TV.. rmotes everywhere!!!!!!

now i can tune the tv and it finds a few chanels but it wont store them for some reason. so every time i want to use i have to go through the whole tuning regeim and choose one to watch..

firstly is this a factory unit? and any experts advice on what might be wrong

It's certainly not a factory unit.... did you buy it privately or from a dealer?

No Idea what the factory unit is Embarassed
well driving from region to region (or even country to country) the channels change so it is of little use to store them, it would be nice if it could operate like the RDS on the radio and auto tune.
I can get more channels on the RRS than I can get on the TV at home and if I go to the next town I am then in range of the German transmitters and can get even more Smile Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

you'll probably find the previous owners did not connect a constant power to the TV System... or they have the constant & ignition power feeds the wrong way around. If it's an ALPINE unit, the power leads usually come with bullit connectors, thus a simple swap should confirm. RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!)
