No, the original one looks better. Do the interior if you can.

Just seen a new 2010 RRSport in the showroom, and i have to say, what have they done.

The interior looks like its been taken out of a FFRR and the front end is wrong.

The only bit i like is the back..............

I would say don't do it. At the moment this may affect your car's resale.

I know on the FFRR you can upgrade the front end for early cars to MY 06 front end. But their values are much lower than their original prices around a quarter.

I think it will only be of benefit to an RRS when the cars are a bit older and values are lower.

People in the know will be be able to tell, you cant change the side vents (different size), the rear bumpers have reflectors in them, new rear lights, different tailpipes, new wheel designs, only black & silver badges, and obviously a whole new interior. Could cheapen the overall effect, if you don't change all of it.

But what do I know Very Happy

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I don't like the front end from the MY2010 to be honest. Confused The interiour looks nice, quite like a FFRR, but on the other hand I like the "honest 4x4-look and feel" of my RRS interior which also seams to be solid and kind of undestroyable. The new one is more like the FFRR, a luxury car which can go offroad, while the older RRS more feels like a (luxury) 4x4.

So, to sum it up, if you want to replace anything in your RRS with a MY2010 part, take the engine! Thumbs Up
(Except you already have a TDV8, it would not make too much sense to throw it away and put the MY2010 TDV8 in... Rolling Eyes Laughing ) RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

Talking of changing bits and re-sale values, I was seriously thinking of changing my MY08 to MY09 tail lights to get rid of the amber indicators (I have changed the side indicators), would this really effect any later value of the car?

I'd agree with Tim, subtle changes/updating/wheels etc will improve the look of a car and make it more desirable without effecting resale.

Each to their own though.

Changing body panels such as a bumper and headlamps, to make something look like something it's not isn't a good idea IMHO.

It reminds me of mods made in Essex years ago, I remember people updating Escort XR3 Mk IIIs to Mk IVs by changing headlamps, indicators, bonnet and bumper. Looked absolute Censored . Laughing

Maybe I've been scarred for life, and it still affects my judgement. Whistle
