parking sensors

i know this is an old topic but please can someone tell me all my sensors are clicking but not working with dash warning light when driving. on sunday they started working again but as soon as i put in reverse the tone sounded different like underwater and warning light came on and they stopped working AGAIN. and does anyone know where the sound comes from for the sensors ? thanks paul Confused paul
