HI ICE Upgrade

Hello all

Does anyone know if I can upgrade the speakers on my audio system (RRS SE HI ICE). In particular I want a better bass. I know the subwoofer is in the tailgate but can this be replaced by something a bit more meaty, I'd like to just replace the the speakers in situ if possible rather than loose a load of boot space.

Thanks!

Of course, but not by a LR dealer. You'd need to go to a car audio specialist, where of course the options are limited only by the size of your wallet Very Happy

....yes, tried that but they either want to fill my boot with great big boom boxes or add a fibre glass in-fill above the left hand wheel well (in the boot) at an enormous price. I was just looking for replacement speakers I could do myself?

Wrong it can be done, apart from finance, you have to look at the power of the amplifer, if the stock one is able to handle the extra power of the new speakers. Anything is possible speak to car audio tech's essex i think they will be able to help further. I mean look at some other car makers, who install bang and olfusen factory fit etc, it can be done. You just have to believe Thumbs Up
