Actually, I'll be down in Cornwall so maybe I can build a cardboard cutout of me and sit it out on the patio with a book and then sneak off in the RRS up the M5... I could be there and back before Mrs S even got a whiff of anything suspicious!

Right then.. its the 17th.. i'll give everyone today to get back to me with definite Yes/No's and i will send out emails/pm's tonight with payment details, and get the ball rolling. Will be extremely annoyed if anyone else drops out now, and might have to do a KAMBO on ur ass..

In regards to food, i presume most people will want to eat something before they depart home in the evening. My mates run a pub nearby and i could cordon off a section of the carpark and book a table and get preorders in etc if thats ok with everyone. its a M&B pub, so usual menu's.. we would probably get there round 6ish and you guys could probably be away by 8pm or so if you need to get going. Hopefully i will have my RRS back in time for this, but im still not holding my breath..

Well im guessing you have eaten at pubs in your lifetime so far, so will be familiar with the food they serve?

Another option is going for a curry.. we're the accountants for a lot of the curry houses around Birmingham, so could set something up at a good'un? get a discount on the go an'all?

but the car parking is probably easier at the pub, and the food may be more varied to accomodate everyone's requirements. I don't drink and have to eat halal meat as a Muslim, but i know what i can get there, so its ok.
