range rover 4.2 sc 2005 fair price?

Hi all new to the forum just put a deposit down on this sc 2005 and wondered if you guys could tell me if I have payed around the right price for it as this would be my first rrs. I have agreed a price of 16k with seller and the spec is as follows

112k full main dealer history until last service
Just serviced with new brakes and pads and discs aswel as front suspention arms and new suspention compressor pump fitted
7k vere London kit fitted with near New 2k 22 inch wheels
Pretty much brand new full black leather nappa interior £1000
Front and rear led light conversion with genuine 2013 autobiography tailgate £800

The condition of the rr is faultless and in mint condition with no dents or major marks

as stated I have agreed a price of 16k and just wondered people's views on the price with the milage etc and prices of other sc's up for sale as I no they can be brought for quite a bit less with less milage.

Thanks

Dan

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I would be asking myself why the owner has spent so much money modifying a 10 year old car? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

The one thing that can't be changed that is the biggest thing affecting a vehicles value is the mileage, forget the facelift bits because they can be done at anytime.

Just browsing AT and eBay, a 'standard' RRS supercharged circa 2005-2006 can be bought with similar mileage for around £11k-£12k, but I think you know that already.

It does look nice though and as long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Thumbs Up

That's my only downside to the car and with the same thoughts as you with money spent on car. Iv seen countless amounts with below 80k in good condition for roughly 10-14k .... I can't fault the cars condition as it's mint condition however with what the others are going for I believe i would struggle to sell for anything near what I payed for it even in the near future and no one like to lose to much money regardless of how deep your pockets are Embarassed

So, with the greatest of respect, why did you pay what you did?

If you're whittling now, would it not be a better idea to get your deposit back or, dependant on how much it is, lose part of it now?

I would walk away. It is so modded it doesn't even look like an RRS. Buy a standard car, lower miles, and mod it yourself if you must.

A few on auto trader with under 80k miles for the same price or less and you can mod it to how you want.

looks tidy to me, its all about how you feel about the car and if it ticks all the boxes for you.

mileage 112k, i reckon thats no biggie on the v8 jag with FSH, also how many miles do you do a year and how long will you keep it for ?.

ill be keeping mine untill its dust, spent a Censored on it as you do with all range rovers.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend and if it ticks the boxes, go for it Thumbs Up

I assume, seeing as though it has been relisted on eBay, that you cancelled the deal?
