bottom arm bushes

hi newby here ive had my rr supercharged in for the dreaded knocking noise and balljoints later and antiroll bar bushes it is doing the same,i recently took it too a different ll garage and they noticed my bushes needed doing on my bottom arms,has anyone got a step by step process off replacing these? i am very good mechanically and would like to attempt it myself,and see if i can eliminate this problem once and for all any help off replacing the bottom arm bushes would be appreciated thnku

You might aswell replace the windscreen wipers as to replace the bushes........the only solution and I say that very, very loosely and with the caveat of it being temporary (max 2k miles) is rubber shims. These are from solution 168 that LR have tried to beat this blazingly horrendous design flaw.

LR suggest metal shims, which from experience create more noise, my dealer copied the pattern and made up rubber ones which to some degree lessens the knocking before the sheer pressure of the bars / suspension make them deteriorate and your back into lada territory once again.

Without sounding like one of the old gits off the muppets show and also a stuck record, there remains NO FIX for this, improvements yes, in the short term, but the noise will once again return, that sir I guarantee. Big Cry Big Cry

Given the MY10s have brand new suspension jiggerypokery, it'll be interesting to see if they suffer from it.
