Yes exactly. If my wife likes the X5 I'm happy - keeps her out of the RRS. Went in the RRS the other day and it stunk of perfume - not good for my street Cred! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey

The new Grand Cherokee is nothing like the old. It like compairing the Disco2 with the Disco3.
The new Jeep handles well and is very 'sporty' in its ride. It really accelerates too. Diesel is economic - it uses the new Merc 3ltr from the new ML. The seats are much better too - not like the old ones (a lump of foam that squashes on the sides and makes you fall out).
Have a look drive of the new style Grand Cherokee. I would have a one over a X5 with 40k miles. The Jeep is more 'exclusive', Matt

Also drove a Disco 2 yesterday - Mrs VA would have had that but I took it out on a drive and Nooooooooooo! The turning circle is terrible and I just didn't like the drive - I think we're spoilt in the RRS. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

My whole life is busy - busy keeping Mrs VA happy! To make matters worse I drove a Volvo XC90 and a M class Merc - not for Mrs VA.

I think tommorw I'll have a laugh at an Aston Martin dealership! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Remember though that a DB9 isn't much faster than a TDV6, so save your money! Laughing Matt

Martin - thanks for that, I will try but I they're about £3000 more than I want to pay so I doubt there will be that much movement. How much is a Hummer? Very Happy 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

They would also have to report me to the Gestapo for having over £10,000 cash - money laundering and all that! WHAT A WONDERFUL COUNTRY WE LIVE IN! Crying or Very sad

I remember depositing a cheque in my bank for £15,000 and the cashier asking me where I got the money! I told him to F&^% off and if he had an ounce of intelligence he could see the cheque was from my business account written by me with my name on the cheque and payable to me. I know it's not really the banks fault more a dictat from our wonderful government. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

You should have told him that you had just got out after serving a 10 stretch for armed robery and that you were just cashing in your stash.
The end result may have been a bit of an issue for you but it would have definately been a kodak moment at the point of telling him Laughing Currently: Carbon Black 535d
