2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue
22" & sus height question

i've been stuck between the idea of 20" and 22" for some time now.
in principle, i want big rims but do not want to to have the lowering module done simply
because i do not like to idea of tricking ecu. (i believe the LR have set the sus height to
go up above 40km for a reason.-corrections welcomed for i could be misinformed.)
but then again, what's the point of buying 22" when you will look unbalanced w/o the lowering module, right?

with that said, is 22" w/o lowering module worth it?
pics any one?
thanx. MY08 TDV8 HSE

I seriously wonder how a RRS or any other car feels when a lowering module is utilised, especially on 22's..................if it's anything like the car moving in access mode, it would feel horrendous Shocked Shocked L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

i would not mind harder ride when the parts are replaced or tuned properly.
but a lowering module's control on an air suspension does not seem to be the case. Confused

can someone post a pics of 22" on normal height please?
thank you. MY08 TDV8 HSE

Mine's on 222 without a lowering module. In access mode it really doesn't feel good so if it's likethat after the lowering module then I'd stay well away. Take a look at my pics - only ever had positive comments at any level of suspension.

Also, as you tend to go on slightly lower profile tyres, the actual radius of the 22 vs a 20 isnt that much different, however, there is clearly a whole lot more wheel filling up the wheel arch and looks a lot better

I ride 22s with a lowering module and to be honest the ride's pretty good... To be fair I haven't exactly taken it off the tarmac so I wouldn't suggest it if you want to take your RRS off road...

........and lets face it, 97% of people don't off road them, so I am guessing if you are a town / city dweller with "bling bling" tendencies then the 22's and lowering is absolutely fine Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
