Sponsored Run

I've decided to enter the Oxford Town and Gown 10Km run on Sunday 17th May 2009 to celebrate my big 50 on this planet, which follows not long after that. Hoping for a reasonably speedy run on a fairly flat course. Any one want to join me Question Whistle No RRS's allowed.

Thought I'd raise some money for the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf Charity, while I'm pounding the streets.

So don't suppose any of you would like to donate to a good cause Question TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Its a real pain in the arse cos I love my running but I always get it. would be interested in the operation as all I get at the moment is ultrasound treatment. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Wozz,

For info I used to suffer from shin splints all the time many years ago until I found the perfect running shoes for me - since I found the best fit runner I've never had it again.

Thanks Kaine.

I had a fitting recently in a triathlon shop. The full works - on a treadmill with a neautral pair on - videod running the works. The new Asics i bought are supposed to help my splints but alas they have returned Sad WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

I run Asics GT2130's (used to be the 1030 etc) - these worked for me, however it was luck rather than judgement in finding them

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

R U all sure about that run? I mean at your age you should be careful about such physical efforts... Whistle Laughing Laughing Laughing

Besides: Why run 10km? Has driving become THAT expensive in London? Shocked Or did you all lose your licenses? I can't think of any other reason for doing a distance of more than 10 feet without the car... RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
