Has anybody changed the firmware of the nav to get Tom Tom running insted of Navteq? Whistle

No - the sat nav question has been one that has been about since launch of the RRS. Nobody as far as I know has been able to hack the system to put speed camera alerts on etc. As for swapping systems I don't think that has been asked before. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I have seen a TomTom running but just the video, and I think audio it is not a problem. The interesting question is crack the sistem for using the tactil funtions

I'd be interested if it could be done. Smile

Its extremely difficult to drive around here using a 2005 EUROPE Navigation DVD. Laughing Malaysia Boleh!

They do not make any maps for my region, hence I've just got the original disc that came with my vehicle! Laughing

I use a cheap GARMIN when necessary! Cool Malaysia Boleh!
