As it is a RRS and the S/C at that why not stick with that & simply add more choices to the options list Question

This would leave way for when they come out with a really tuned version and could call this a RRS S/C RS ..... you know it makes sense Wink

I always thought it stood for special edition... but either way, the naming is a bit odd. It all seems as though they've just reverted to almost selling the first edition cars again... OK, so no Vesuvius but otherwise the spec is conveniently similar. Ours is not to reason why, I suppose Rolling Eyes

as Biggles says ... can't blame 'em .. first editions seem pretty rare... I have only seen 1 in my area (vs. about 40 RRS over the last 3 months) ....and it was in orange, too ...bloomin lovely Range Rover Sport TdV6HSE Bonatti Grey 20" FE Stormer wheels, Privacy Glass, Mats, Boot Mat, black badges, SC grille and vents

Likewise - just the one. Java one in Guildford one Saturday... the countless others around here are standard SCs and then diesels. I've never actually seen an S though... I suppose they are quite a rarity with most people seeming to plump for the SC or the diesel HSE.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

I believe British Leyland (ok maybe it was Austin Rover) first introduced the SE and at the time it meant "Special Equipment" (I used to be a real anorach and colected car brochures when I was a kid in the early 1970's). In no time there was the HSE to mark a higher spec still, and the S (which up to then had been the sport, fell in line behind the SE as the level just up from the basic spec.

Also, another difference between the 1st Editions and this SC SE is the lack of rear seat DVD screens etc. L319 D4 HSE

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

This is interesting in that, the dealers over here in the states threaten to void a portion of your warranty if you run 22" wheels. Now that it could potentially be a factory option will they then not give you grief? www.vip-culture.com | 06 RRS HSE | 06 Odyssey Touring

Go to this URL and look under the "Special Edition Pkg". It states 22" Range Stormer Concept wheels. Hmm...
