My steering wheel did the same but sold the car before it really bothered me. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

So i assume its a common problem. One that Land Rover should recognize.

100% covered under warranty...over here it's called "delamination", not sure what they are calling it in the UK., but many of us in the U.S. have had the steering wheel replaced.

P.S. Are you a fan of Bjorn Borg and the Fila wear from that time period? PJPR

My wheel seemed to wear out after a year and no problem getting it exchanged under warranty.

It wasn't the first they had done, it appears to be a fairly well known fault, although I am sure they will inform you that its never been heard of before...............and you must have mistreated it somehow! .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??
