Can the HSE take Brembo brakes? I had a set of the Brembos on my SRT 8 300C a couple of years back. I loved those brakes. All I can find is $5K USD Gran Tourismo sets. What did you guys (who didn't get them stock) use to get Brembos?

I need brakes, I'd hate to spend money on less than Brembo

Was thinking of just masking up the area where the Brembo logo is and doing it my self....

I've had a set of Brembo calipers and tried to fit to mine TDV6 HSE but could NOT as the two bolts from the frame were different from the caliper (distance). Can someone tell me what modification I should do OR else??? Thanks.

i fitted brembo brakes to my td6se last week all very simple got 2 calipers on ebay for £200,discs 360mm were £70 and new supercharger backplates were £17 each from landrover. they are definately better stopping and feel really good no drawbacks whatsoever they look amazing

I've tried to fit these to my TDV6 HSE but the two bolt distances from the frame are different from the calipers. Have I got the wrong calipers (from RR Sport OR just RR), I wondered??? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

You may have the wrong calipers... the FFRR and RRS don't have the same fittings.

There's nothing different about the HSE that means it wouldn't be able to use the same Brembos as found on the SC. Indeed, you get them on the TDV8s I believe.

I found the same when fitting calpiers to mine, i got some from a FFRR and the bolts were 12mm diamiter and my car had 16mm diamiter bolts.

So the FFRR calipers were different to mine Sad

I ended up getting a set from Bowler the same ones they use on the Nemesis.

Ans here the black version, new:

Reading the reactions of the forum members I am considering switching these out as well. Are there any drawbacks...?
Thanks!

Whilst on the subject of brembo brakes..... I noticed that the discs aren't but just the calipers??

Has anyone fitted the actual brembo cross-drilled to theirs? I mean it'd be silly not to in my opinion as the discs cost from LR about the same as these

Cross-drilled brake discs are not good on off-road vehicles! The mud clogs up all the holes and then you can't stop! Shocked

Ah I see....better order my cross-drilled ones then. I'm probably the only on-roader here Laughing Laughing Currently
