Suspension Knock

I purchased a RRS TDV8 in July 08 at 1200KMS it developed a suspension knock. Dealer changed bushes and DR pump and the knock still occurs. Pulled fuse to dynamic response system and the knock is still there. Any one got any idea of a fix???

Now a common problem.

Get your dealer to follow the latest TSBs issued by LR and fit new design ball joints and new design AR bushes.

No guarantees but it's a step in the right direction. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Gday baxc. The Knock comes from the front in the right but occasionally occurs in the left. It accurs when I hit some rough road. It is shocking off road and sounds as though a stut is broken. Would not want to go to far off road.

Just a quick update on my RRS TDV8 suspension knock. Took car to another dealer for second opinion. Dealer upgraded software and re adjusted rear door (another matter). Was not impressed with the update so I took the car for a run to the Pilbara and put it through its paces on the access roads to the Georges and surrounding tracks near Tom Price and out onto the Burrup peninsula. The knock still occurs in the right front (clunk some times) but is now over shadowed by the the rear door that rattles so badly that it sounds as it may fall off (cant win). I wonder if its possible to shoe horn that lovely TDV8 into a X5. Laughing
