How big actually is the tank - pretty sure that (according to the local fuel pumps) I have put more than 81.05 litres in from very close to empty??

Maybe it just shows full but is not really full? Rolling Eyes Malaysia Boleh!

Fuel Level Gauge
A warning lamp is incorporated into the fuel level gauge and illuminates when the fuel tank volume is at or below 12.5 liters (2.75 Gallons) on petrol models and 14 liters (3.69 Gallons) on diesel models. This is accompanied by a chime from the instrument cluster and a message alert the driver to the low fuel condition.

And if you have the navigator, fuel pumps will show up on the screen. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Yes, there's so much of it, we clearly bathe in it, drink it, wash our cars with it and use it as cologne here Razz

You can squeeze more than 90 litres in if you fill the tank, ignore the fuel filer pump cut outs and continue to fill to the top of the filler tube as well...................... on a freezing cold morning.

You never want to run the tank completely empty which is why they leave those 4 litres below the empty - not only will running the fuel pump dry knacker it but I believe that once you get air into the HP diesel system it's very difficult to reprime it 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

dare i say it but in the disco 3 i did a few miles in around 30 mins after seeing the 0 warning, stuck in traffic going through the tyne tunnel started off at one side thinking i will just wait till i pass through as i was in a hurry
typical traffic jam

I was almost tunnel then boooom 0 left in the tank. to late waited tooooooo long so was not turning round, thought ahhh theres a petrol station at the other side i will be ok, OH NO I WOULD NOT THE ROAD HAD ACCTUALY BEEN CHANGED SO THAT WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION, so 5 miles later pulled up at a jet petrol staion.
happy i found some where before i cut out but unhappy it was not a shell!!!! but suppose beggars cant be chooooooosers

and i will add not even one hiccup on the way and i was not going to turn off my radio or aircon "ha ha HA HA" laughing all the way to the bank!
