Bringing my car in for a service on thursday, before heading off to Italy for the long weekend of hammering the car around the Dolomites, the cruise control gave up the ghost!

I was cruising along nicely at 150 km/h and tried to back off the speed a bit by tapping the (-) button; the cruise control shut off immediately and refused to reactivate, reset or do anything at all. I pulled in, switched off and restarted to try again. It switched on ok, accelerated nicely but as soon as I tried to back off the speed with the buttons, it shut down again.

The dealer did the service, updated the software and confirmed I have a problem with the cruise control. It being friday and I not wishing to leave the car in with a dealer who didn't know how to fix the problem, I took it away. So now I will have to wait til I can get the car in for longer.

Anyone else experience this problem? (with the cruise control - not the dealer) RRS TDV6 (gone)
