Dumb question but need sanity check

Had my wheels all balanced as was getting some steering wheel wobble when braking.

Since balancing its actually worse.

I'm not being daft here am I? It IS wheel balancing that causes the wobbling through the steering wheel?

Its been so long since I had steering/balance issues I just wanted to check there's nothing obvious I am not thinking of. L319 D4 HSE

Yes it will be balancing...

Unless it only happens when braking in which case a warped brake disc will most likely be the culprit. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

I had this on a brand new one - not to be ruled out but braking is the key ...

Wobble can also be accentuated from a very slight wobble to a bad wobble by an over inflated tyre pressure - had this last week on the wife's car after a puncture repair and the tyre fitter over inflated her tyre...

also had wobble on a wheel after smacking a rock Confused
