finally after I've been terrorising the forum for weeks or even months without having my own RRS I made it: From now on I will get on your nerves with a lot more since I do have my RRS!


This is what I started with: A bonatti grey, standard RRS TDV6 HSE:







 RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration

McBunny you also NEED some clear indicator lens

Since then the following modifications have been made:
- tinted windows
- s/c grille
- s/c vents

Already at home but not yet installed:
- sill plates ("tasmods")


Planned but not yet done:
- Stormers or s/c wheels
- additional 18 inch wheels for playing in the dirt
- color coded mirrors
- grey side indicators

Will they fit? Reading that ten minutes ago could have saved me some Euros... But never mind, I just ordered them with E-sign (perhaps they are the BMW ones just more expensive ).


So unfortunately no new pics yet but some news:
I wanted to wait with new tyres and wheels until spring since I am afraid I could damage the wheels not beeing used to the size of the car yet and since I grew up in the mountains I'm not afraid of driving all weather tyres in the snow. But I had a very frightning experience in the snow yesterday when I was visiting a friend, when 3 tons start sliding, that can be really scary! So I decided to buy some propper winter tyres (i.e. Pirelli Scorpions) and put them on some decent wheels and so:

Only aftermarket ones. (You know, poor young guys with no money, credit crisis and so on...)

I have been offered a great deal by my tyre dealer (who says those wheels are exactly the same as the Landrover ones just not from Landrover, I don't know if he's right but then I don't care as long as they look good ) and it's cheaper to buy those new than used ones would have been.



I wanted to order a chrome union jack for the back of the car (instead of the green LR-logo) which i saw at an auction youknowwhere but missus doesn't allow it.  RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration

Finally I had some time to do the updates and to take some pictures. Please excuse the poor quality of the iPhone-pics.

Modifications done:
- s/c grille
- s/c vents
- tinted windows
- stormers

Yesterday I also changed the side repeaters (I took grey ones) but unfortunately I took the pictures before the change so you'll have to imagine this part.
Still to do: Rear lights, tasmods (already in the boot but still not installed yet), color coded mirrors.
