I paid a visit to a disused airfield in Oxfordshire today that used to be used by Rover to store new cars. Now its got loads of RRSports parked up on the runway.
So unless you've spec'd up and got a personal build I reckon your car may come from here with the same waiting period! TDV6 - gone

Was that at Upper Heyford?
They use that as a holding area for many brands up there. You see lots of Audi A8 driving out of there. My VW van came from there too. Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

Yes it was Upper Heyford. Sorry no pics I've got so used to seeing Rovers on that side of the runway that I didn't pay much attention, until one of my mates said so and I spotted the side vents as we drove around the ring road. TDV6 - gone

Could it be that LR is stocking them there prior to shipping them ,i.e. they are cars already ordered by specific distributors for their clients or is it merely a stock ? RRS S/C,Bonatti Grey,Ebony Interior,Lined Oak Finish, Rear Lock Dif, DVD,Sunroof,ACC

Know Upper Heyford well, most are the cars LR's are on there way out of the country. There are also some that have been to Europe and are back as parallel imports.
