RRS Vs Q7

Thinking of trading in my 56 Plate RRS HSE for a Audi Q7...
What do you think guys??? I was inside my friends Q7 the other day and it just felt so much more advanced and modern... The engineering is superb. I also think that in the long run it will hold its value a lot better...

Id love to hear what you guys think...

Very Happy

All very true..... but don't forget you will always have to look at the Q7 from the outside before enjoying the inside, which IMHO is also a bit overdone Whistle SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

United Kingdom

Flight, Mrs ST and I hired a Q7 when we were back in the UK for 4 weeks back in August.

First and foremaost, my biggest single bugbear about the RRS is the interior quality and on that front the Q7 is not only on a different page, it's in a different library!!

It does feel much more modern too.

The Q7 is a good drive too and the 3.0TDi has more than enough grunt although not as refined as the LR diesels.

Visually, the Sport wins hands down. Over 2.5 yrs later I still find myself walking away from the car and turning round to have just one more look....

Spacewise, the Q7 wins again. Especially the width inside. When we got back into the RRS it seemed like we aere brushing shoulders...

So, a win for the Q7 then?

Not so fast..... despite the OBVIOUS advantages the Q7 has over the RRS I would still take the Sport all day, everyday.

Why? It just has that indefinable character about it. EVERYTIME I get in the Sport, it makes me feel good and I ENJOY driving it.

The RRS envelopes you in a warm and welcoming embrace, the Q7 just makes you shrug...

That's the difference and for me, makes it a no-brainer

Go the RRS route, you know it makes sense Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Hhmmm... Some good points. I also lock my car and as Im walking away glance back and think... Nice...
But... These things seem to have a lot of problems and are dropping value at a supersonic rate. I also wouldnt dare to own one of these out of warranty...

.....and the Q7 isn't??? I think not.

Also, you WOULD own a Q7 out of warranty?? Are you stark raving bonkers??

Any car out of warranty is a risk, it all depends on how its been looked after and TBH the build at birth.

Stick with the pedigree. Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
