Carbon Kevlar Brake Pads

I've used these before. Great friction for stopping but with much less dust...

Anyway, Porterfield, it seems, now makes pads for the RRS!
http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/product_info.php?productID=2446

So, what do we think?
- Might get a group buy going....

Rear pad looks like this :-

Fronts AP 1001 R4-S $179.95 (no wear sensor cut outs)
- Should we be worried about lack of sensor cut outs?

Rears AP 1099 R4-S $79.95 (has wear sensor cut out)

"This are our list price if you did a group buy depending on the size if would be between 10-20% discount.
Shipping for one car set would be $144.00.

If you had a lot of car sets like 6+ I could send it BAX Global I hear there rates are pretty good and then I send it freight collect and you can just pay them. Also I have a distributor in England you could see if you could go in together on this perhaps. www.whifbitz.co.uk "

The R4s Compound is described as follows :-

"R4-S High Performance Street and Autocross – For high performance and heavy-duty street conditions. Perfect for prolonged everyday street use while also being capable of tolerating the most severe street use without any fade. Rotor friendly of course. The R4-S friction level will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum pedal effort. R4-S compound has the absolute lowest noise and dust levels, far below OEM equipment or any other high performance brake material. Good for autocrossing, some drivers schools, solo events, and rally’s. The R4-S compound is available for virtually any vehicle sold in the US. We also offer the R4-S in pad sizes for competition type calipers that are used under street driven conditions."

Comments welcome chaps.... 2022 P440e AB

Chaps. I've not done a great job explaining this.... But... Essentially...

What I'm talking about are brake pads that stop the car faster and have very little brake dust.
- Whats not to like? - Other than the lack of sensor cut out? Sad 2022 P440e AB
