Perhaps something like these "slip ons". Cost about £130 from Ebay and fitted in 3 minutes. They look better when the high gloss finish tones down a bit and they do a great job of looking like they were meant to be there..

BTW, next to Rimini Red, Stornoway is my favourite colour
