You are right ubertom, but the offroading I do is not that severe and I have to decide what to do, as the sump guard is still in by garage Exclamation

If any one has a non winch version i will do one like it and they will be much cheaper than the Mantec ones as i do them for the d3 boys along with other things Wheel Protectors

I don't know if there even is a "Mantec - Non Winch Plate" for the RRS.

So perhaps RLD you may have introduce one to the market Wink

If you got your hands on the winch version, would it be a huge job to design a non winch plate Question

Is this wheel protector designed to be used with the LR3 or RRS spare wheel? Looks like an interesting idea here, but how does the metal not scratch the inside of the rim once pulled up tight on the cable. I presume that the cover sits flush with the rim, or is the outside diameter a bit larger to rest on the rubber of the tire?

Do you have a pic of one installed on the LR3 or RRS?
Price for RRSPORT members?

Thanks! PJPR
