Curious as to why you don't like Samsung/LG?

She's has had Motorola (Hated it), Nokia (Ok), and a few Samsungs and has liked them all. She is now happy and comfortable with the way the menus, SMS etc work so I think she would want to stick with that make.

Oh, and she also wants a decent camera on it too. 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

How good an actual phone are they? Do they have all the bang up to date specs? 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

It's all about what you're used to I guess - I have used Nokia for the last 15 years, and if had to go to another it would be Samsung, over LG - their phones are probably the most stylised in the business right now, after the iphone. The new Sony is pretty good, my daughter has it and it has a 5MP camera.......but stick with Samsung....and get her the LV tag thing too mate - she'll be the envy of all her mates, if she's into bags, shoes etc etc 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. Not sure how good they are. But they are a division of Nokia, so as good as them I suppose.... Range Rover Sport SC - Java / Tasmods / Skirts

I love the Iphone.

Delliberately simple to operate. Wonderful operating system too (compared to Symbian (Nokia) and Palm or Windows Mobile). Range Rover Sport SC - Java / Tasmods / Skirts

I have a very basic Vertu phone, no diamonds, just leather and steel....looks lovely, but it's just a good nokia basic phone - just comes with a very excelletn concierge service, which gets you pretty much a table at any restaurant, hotel etc...wife got it for me for my 40th........still haven't decided if I want to keep it, as I certainly don't think it's worth the £££ she paid for it......but then again I hate getting presents from anyone, so she should know better!!! 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. ST - my wifey has the Viewty and the Samsung Soul. She wouldn't recommend either apart from she says they look nice

I think I will have to go and look at them on Friday afternoon.

i like the look of the Samsung F480 (I think it is there version of the iPhone), they are €439 over here (About 350 quid) so not too badly priced.

I have the new midnight U900 aka samsung soul.


good looking phone but black marks easily
came with 8gb card so massive amounts of memory
good functions, bluetooth, security, web, video, pictures, ringtones, contact extras
excellent camara 5 megapixel with flash delay slide etc
good features ie, themes, lettering, backgrounds, layouts


main gripe with it is it is awkward to text on,

the predictive text is a bit dodgey
removal of letters often leads to the wipe of the whole text
a pain to select the recipient,
very easy to send blank texts or texts to wrong person

apart from that its quality

Thats what I have got and was going to suggest it until I saw the "spec" which was "light" which isn't the case as it is quite weighty being stainless steel and I think either glass or some kind of ceramic,ticks all the other boxes though,certainly very stylish and does bugger all apart from being a phone and texting,camera is next to useless. 2008 8.5 TDV6 SE Stornaway,Ebony and Zebrano.
