Logic 7 setting suggestions

Hi guys,
We have had a few Sports and Discos in recently, and nearly every one has had the Logic 7 setup in a way so as to sound absolutely bloody awful!!

I had a very quick play around with it and found the following settings sound best generaly (obviously not all radio stations/CDs will sound their best at all times but it is a good place to start)

Bass: -4 clicks
Treble: +5 clicks
Subwoofer: +5 clicks
Logic 7: On

The reason for the minus bass setting, is that the door speakers sound very boomy and muddle the sound up terribly when the bass is flat.

Not sure if you have played around with these settings much but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Cheers

Chris

thanks for that Chris, I'll certainly try it, I think my settings are not far off that already actually as like you say, if you pile on the bass, it can sound muffled. L319 D4 HSE

Any thoughts on improving the poor sound of the logic 7 system are appreciated. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Easy, set Logic7 to "off." Smile I'm not a huge fan of any 2 channel to multichannel DSP tricks... never sounds natural. Sorry, no matter how I screw with the "tone" EQ.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, but in the Disco the imaging is so bad with it switched off that I genuinely belive it helps a lot!!

I agree with Chris and grommet. Only use logic if playing a dvd-a in the Rear Entertainment. I found the same setting just about the best for Sat, FM and dvd although I still think I am going to do something with the subwoofer when I can get round to it.
