It must happen on the TDv6 also as every now and again the engine in my car sounds different at start up! Very noticable! 2008 WHITE TDV6

My car also came with the DPF,even with the cat-back JE system the exhaust note is quite tame on mine too.
Thought about removing the DPF but since it's a quite complex piece of kit I was advized to leave the DPF alone.
Think i'm gonna give John at JE a call to see if they can provide me with a cat bypass to spicen the sound up a bit.
