Just found this thread. You do not need an alarm, tracker etc in your car or a burglar alarm on the house.

Get a big dog and stick a notice up on the gate and the car. Encourage your dog to leave its demolished toys strewn around your front garden and leave some in the car.

I do all of the above and it seems to keep the bad guys away. (even the Jehovas witness lot just leave a "watchtower" in my letterbox at the end of the path. They dare not venture past the gate!!!

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I have had a good few 'Presige cars' and have allways left the keys on the bottom step of my staircase.
If some wants the car they can have it..just as long as they do not wake me up!
Of course the keys are not veiwable by opening the letter box!
The BigMat mansion has three floors afterall! 19.1 mpg..who gives a fluck?
