Are any other forum members having problems with starting their RRS SC from cold.

Our 07 build SC starts very reluctantly from cold, even in Brisbane, Australia. It sounds as if only one or two cylinders catch and has to be turned off, and left for some time before it can be coaxed in starting and running properly.

The dealer, Southside Landrover, recently had the car back in to change the fuel pressure sensor and relay, following discssions with Landrover UK, but this has not solved the problem.

We have been informed that many other RRS SC have the same problem but, having serached this forum, I cannot find others in a similar predicament.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Sometime back there was an issue with "the vehicle is difficult to start if it has been left standing for between 2-5 hours, or that the idle quality is poor for a short period after starting".

Updating the engine control module software solved the problem. Malaysia Boleh!

Some SC's have a problem caused by a low battery on startup from cold. Low power due to the cold overnight....
- Revs dip very low and she chugs away a bit. Could it be that?
