Rear Seat Belt

Has anyone else had any issues with seat belts not retracting all the way once you undo them?

I am experiencing this problem with the rear offside one. This is where my son sits mostly & he pointed it out to me ( bright lad & he's only 6 ) but he's absolutely correct..... it doesnt retract & needs manually coaxed back into its housing.

Again this has been added to the snagging/complaint list for its visit to the dealer this week.

Yep, it happens on the seatbelt that keeps my little boy's car seat in place. When you take the car seat out, the belt just sits there. Once you feed it back in though, the reel does seem to work again.

I am definately getting mine checked - the same thing happened in my wifes Audi TT - and service were not happy with it, they said it was faulty and needed replacing immediately.

I had to have each side of the second row replaced......It took me an age to realise what the bloody rattle was coming from the rear of the car, then I realised it was the seat belt knocking against the door trim!!! Currently: Carbon Black 535d
