Shut Up Sat Nav Lady!

Simple question that I'm sure has been answered before, but I can't find it.

How do I turn the sat nav voice 100% off all the time? I've looked through the menus but can't seem to find the option?

Thanks in advance Very Happy

Is there not a mute button somewhere on the screen? Cant quite remember

If not there, im sure its in the sat nav setting screen, where you can pick the text size and so on - maybe on page 2?

Yeah. Bottom right of the screen. A picture of a speaker.
Push it and it shuts her up. 2022 P440e AB

Bottom right hand part of the screen under Home screen for Nav....speaker symbol with line through it! Tap it once and all will be cured. Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

I always have the Sat Nav on mute. But she won't be quiet if there is "a closed lane ahead". For some reason she cannot resist telling me that several times, even though a closed lane never actually appears. If you are on the phone at the time it can be quite annoying, and you can't turn the volume down without also turning the phone volume down. Is this a fault with my sat nav or do others experience this ? RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

It's normal but from what I remember you can deselect the warnings in the TMC menu. RTFM! Wink 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

you can also turn the volume knob when the lady's talking.
it should help her settle down to an extent.
not sure if it can completely shut her up, though. MY08 TDV8 HSE

I'd like the opportunity to hear a sat nav voice. We are still waiting in NZ for the disks to arrive!

Now I've got a leash on her, where is the sat nav disc located. I can hear it moving when I turn on or off the car but I can't place where the noise is coming from?

Sat Nav availibility

The cars come fitted with sat nav, ie DVD under the seat and the screen in the centre console, but the disks for NZ are not yet available. The dealers and importer have said middle of the year (last year) end of the year, beginning of this year and middle of this year. I guess this is the problem with being a small market.
