United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black
LR / RRS keyfob question

Has anyone out there had the same problem as this.

The D3/RRS keyfob comes wiht a small split ring connected to a larger one that the keys are connected to.

I had the misfortune of losing my D3 keyfob when it fell off the tiny ring when I was out jogging (and I didnt notice it had gone) ......

Last week I put a second ring on the RRS keyfob when the same thing happened (and I did notice!) and I have just checked and one of the tiny rings has fallen off this time.

What's the recommended way to keep the bloody keyfob attached to house keys!

Thanks for any help RRS TDV6 SE Java Black +towpack +tintent +Permagrin

Had the same problem.

I got hold of a double ring type thing that you get on keys/keyrings and it just fitted to the key fob, and have my house keys on a carabiner which clips on the double ring loop thing (If that makes anay sense!) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I tried all sorts of solutions, bought different key rings etc.

In the end the only solution was a cable tie....yes the only way to secure the expensive key fob to my expensive car is with a 0.01p cable tie. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

thats the thing that really p Censored sses me off about these cars.

you have a vehicle that looks like the dogs danglies but you dont know if your keyfob will still be attached when you are stood next to it.

Love the car to bits. Hate the lack of attention to important detail! (and I know it D3/RRS/FFRR).......... RRS TDV6 SE Java Black +towpack +tintent +Permagrin
