Just got the Car Tax reminders for both cars through the post.
Last year both the RRS & Boxster were £316 for 12 months.
This year the RRS has gone up to £400 but the Boxster, which
has the bigger engine (3.2) & higher emissions has dropped to £210!

Road tax here for the RRS was (I think) about 450 Euros (GBP£360).

Well if it makes you feel any better, I pay 1,147 EUR (appx £908 stg) per year to tax my RRS

A TDV8 would be 1,491 EUR or £1,181 Stg

Then for any new RRS registered after July 1st, the tax rates will be based on CO2 emissions, which will make the annual road tax payable for a Sport to 2,000 EUR

That's not to mention a price hike also from July 1st, of somewhere in the region of seven or eight grand on a RRS, when the Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) is calculated on emissions also

Looks like the Irish govt. have been talking with the Cypriot govt.
