Yes, been for the last 7 years (except for one). It's good fun if the weather's good, however if it's raining it's pretty miserable!

It's approx £100 return on Eurotunnel, 5-6 hours drive to Le Mans, £60ish for a weekend gate pass, plus accomodation. We camp in one of the 7 camp sites around the track, and although I bought my pass on ebay as I wasn't sure if I could go until a week or so ago it only cost me £100 for the pass.

It is something that you need to do as the whole weekend is devoted to cars. Last year on the camp site I had a couple of guys with a Ferrari F40 one side and then a group with a Lamborgini Gallardo and a DB9 the other side.

It's just a big social event with pleanty to see and do over the weekend, and pleanty of beer and laughing.

The racing's not bad either!

A mate of mine goes with a bunch of his two-wheeler friends... always comes back with a grin on his face, but that might have something to do with "les filles francaises" Rolling Eyes

Was there a few years ago, working for Audi as the company I worked for then was one of Audi's sponsors. I had full access to the pits and even got my photo taken in the R8 under the bridge Smile Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

My business partner is going down with a friend in our Caterham - rather him than me for X'00 miles in that go-cart. Great for short journeys but would rather cruise in the Rangey any day!!!
He's camping aswell - seems the accomodation of choice in Le Mans world! I'll take Rocco Forte any day Jaguar XKR Convertible
