Has anyone info on fitting a self recovery winch. The weight of the RRSport is such that it just sinks on wettish ground.
Also for 18inch wheels with bembros just fit 40mm spacers. Wheels will only just project outside body.

What do you need to know? I have a Warn XP 9.5 fitted to mine - kit available from LR but it's not cheap. Look at my gallery for pictures. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Thank you for the photos. I was hoping to find an installation where the winch would sit more or less behind the bumper line. That shown on the photo projects well forward. Is fitting the mount difficult, especially re location of sensors,I fiiied a winch to a P38 which was straightforward but trim had to be cut. Regards David.

I didn't fit it but I know a man who will. I'm not sure about a hiddin winch, but I know this can be done on the D3.

As for the sensors - 2 remain in their original position, the other 2 have to be hidden and covered up to stop them picking objects up. The other option is to have LR reprogramme the sensors so that the front ones don't work. I havn't tried to reposition the sensors. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Where did you get the spacers from?

I think there's enough space behind the bumper to fit a hidden winch - the same way some have done on the D3.
