The boot is HUGE!

What's the most amount of stuff you've ever managed to jam into your RRS? As I'm away for the new year's eve goings on, I'm also taking opportunity to dump one of our spare beds down with the mother-in-law in Somerset. I have to say, I didn't think I'd get it all in but it fits like a dream.

1 x Queen size mattress
1 x Oak bed frame consisting of big headboard, footboard and sides
2 x pieces of hardboard to spread mattress weight
8 x wooden base slats

Amazing! Very Happy

Ha-ha!! Laughing Laughing

Luckily, we're not staying with the inlaws just getting rid of a bed to them as they want to swap theirs apparently so will whip down from Gloucs (where we're staying) to Somerset tomorrow morning. Only saw them on Xmas Day and you can have too much of a good thing.... Laughing Laughing

we did a similar thing when we got rid of one of our double beds to convert a bedroom into another office, the outlaws came and took it away in their honda civic!

In terms of getting stuff in the boot, on the 2nd day of having my car I went to Ikea and got a huge desk, two leather swivel chairs, a pedestal set of filing drawers, a cd rack, a book case, accessories and some picture frames in, all in one go. It was a feat of tesselation that's for sure. L319 D4 HSE

10,000 Bollywood movie soundtrack recordings for me, squeezed in a couple of weeks ago!
650kg which I think is about 50kg above the LR recommended max weight?? but it coped with ease.
I've also carried a 4 x 4 petrol powered wheelbarrow!
