No the cars bluetooth should be on all the time and as far as I'm aware you can not switch it off. A trip to a LR dealer is my only advise. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

There is a different bluetooth pairing code depending if your car kit was factory fitted or dealer installed.
The pairing code for a factory fit is 2121 but for a dealer fitted system (even a LR one) try 0000.

Hope this helps.

Also depends on what handeset you are using......some are notoriously tricky. Shocked

It took me 20 mins to get the Iflone to sync with the Freeloader....but only seconds with the RRS !! My Gladiators:

I have a retro-fitted LR bluetooth system - have experienced this problem twice. I disconnect (-) battery connection for couple of seconds and re-connect and the bluetooth resets itself. RRS TD V8 HSE, Black, Tan interior, Privacy Glass, Sun Roof, Prem Nav, adaptive lighting, PTI,
