United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
My new RRS

Hi all,

Well i have just moved over from disco3 as i have bought myself a new RRS TDV8, which i must say im delighted with. Handing over all the cash was a joy for once.

There is one thing that i hope someone can tell me?
On the LR website it says the the TDV8 has Bi-xenon Adaptive Front Headlights. On the TDV6 is says it has Bi-xenon Headlights with corner lamps.

Now i have an 08.5 model and it seems that i have these lights that light up when cornering. I might be wrong, but they seem more like corner lamps.

Any ideas?

You do get the cornering lamps on the TDV8 as well - they come on at low speed whilst indicating and cornering with a view to lighting up the interior of the corner you're turning onto/out of....

Ok, if the the car is at a stand still, would i see the headlight beam move as im turning the steering wheel? Or will they only bend when you driving? On one of my last cars i had you could see the beam move when the car was still, but on the RRs you cant.

Wasn't sure if this is quite normal?

I called the dealer, but i would have got more sense from my dog! Rolling Eyes

No. You have to be rolling a bit for the AH to move, you'll notice it in car parks as you drive up ramps, for example.
