My Christmas has now officially been fulfilled. I watched the (original) Italian Job for the 1000th time and every time I watch it I love it. Probably the best film where the cars star ever made - unless you know better! |

the remake wasn't too bad either in my opinion, but you can't beat the original.. |

Agree it's an excellent film! The recent remake wasn't too bad either as a piece of entertainment, but lost the spirit of the original. Have you literally seen it 1000 times? |

Kam - sorry but I really didn't like the re-make, it lost it's raw appeal and was too americanised. |

When my wife was working in Turin in the summer of this year I went out a few times to see her, one weekend we went looking for Italian Job landmarks, and got to the old Fiat factory, where they filmed the scenes on the rooftop racetrack - called the Lingoto Track.
