United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Forestry Commission Forest Drives

No these are not the extreme events I go on with my Def90 but scenic drives that can be made though the forests in even the normal family car and some may like to take their RRS over them without getting it covered in mud or dragging it through gorse bushes.

Here in Central Scotland we have 2 very scenic drives on the forest trails, no special offroad equipment is required and even 4WD is unnecessary.......................

The two drives here are at Aberfoyle in the Trossachs and a new one has opened this week over in the Argyll Forest park in the Leacainn Forest.
The new one starts/ends at Auchindrain, opposite the Folk Museum and the other end is at Ardray over on the west side of the Kintyre peninsular. All surfaces are hard tracks with a rolled gravel surface. Length is about 12 miles
Auchindrain is about 8 miles from Inveraray.

Both locations are FREE entry but can get quite busy on a sunny weekend like we had this weekend!
