Thats what i figured painting aluminium is always difficult.
By the time you factor in paint and materials costs time effort and the end result its a no brainer. Just seems a waste of the old ones. |

The side step trims on my 07 HSE are knackered, so I'm considering painting them.
How easy are they to remove without trashing them, or should I paint them in situ.

| Tried 2 of these from eBay now and both have the same problem fitted a second hand one it works, guess I need to buy a new genuine one anyone tried the Dunlop branded Hitachi style ones? |

I could leave mine in Spain for 4 or 5 weeks, but always left it in access mode. Standard JLR AGM battery.
