Nope never had the problem but I never tint the fronts, anything over factory tint is either not worth it or illegal so what's the point

I think you'll probably find only a fraction of revenue generated by VED actually gets spent on the roads.
It all goes into the general pot of government coffers to be spent on all sorts.
